BoxoUSA T-Shirt Design Contest – Official Rules & Guidelines

1. Contest Overview

BoxoUSA invites you to showcase your creativity in our T-Shirt Design Contest! The winning design will be featured on an official BoxoUSA T-shirt, and the creator will receive a prize and recognition. By submitting an entry, participants agree to comply with these Official Rules.

2. Eligibility

• Open to legal residents of the United States, age 18 or older at the time of entry.
• Employees, officers, and directors of BoxoUSA, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, and immediate family or household members of such individuals are not eligible.
• Contest is void where prohibited by law.

3. Submission Guidelines

• Originality: Designs must be entirely original, created solely by the participant, and unpublished.
• Design Requirements:
  • Designs must use only white and/or red elements.
  • All designs will be printed on a black T-shirt.
  • The design must include the BoxoUSA logo, either in square or long form, placed somewhere within the artwork.
• Prohibited Content: Entries must NOT include:
  • Profanity, explicit imagery, hate speech, or discriminatory content
  • Violence, illegal activity, or adult themes
  • Trademarks, logos, copyrighted materials, or brand names other than BoxoUSA
• Branding Resources: Official logos, fonts, and brand colors are available for download here: Download BoxoUSA Brand Assets
• File Specifications:
  • Acceptable formats: PNG, AI, EPS, or PSD
  • Resolution: Minimum 300 DPI
  • Maximum file size: 20MB
  • Transparent background preferred (if applicable)
• Limit: One (1) design entry per participant.

4. How to Enter

Submissions will be accepted starting on April 24, 2025. All entries must be received by May 15, 2025 at 11:59 PM PST.

• Submit your entry through the entry form provided above on this webpage.
• Late or incomplete entries will not be accepted.
• By entering, you grant BoxoUSA a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, and distribute your design in any format and media for promotional or commercial use.
• If selected as the winner, you agree to transfer all ownership rights in the design to BoxoUSA, including all intellectual property rights. You may not reuse, resell, or repurpose the winning design for any other purpose.

5. Judging & Public Voting

• All entries will be reviewed and scored by BoxoUSA staff.
• Internal judging concludes on May 22, 2025.
• Finalist designs will be posted to BoxoUSA’s social media accounts starting May 22, 2025.
• Public voting will run from May 22 to May 29, 2025.
• The final winner will be determined based on the combined outcome of BoxoUSA staff voting and public support during the voting period.

6. Judging Criteria

All eligible entries will be evaluated by BoxoUSA staff based on overall creativity, originality, brand alignment, and design quality. Finalists will be selected by internal vote and presented for public voting on social media.

7. Prizes

• Grand Prize: The winning design will be produced on an official BoxoUSA T-shirt. The winner will receive:
  • One (1) BoxoUSA 159-Piece Metric & SAE 3-Drawer Hand Carry Tool Box
  • One (1) custom T-shirt featuring their winning design
  • Additional BoxoUSA swag items
• Additional honorable mentions or prizes may be awarded at BoxoUSA’s discretion.
• Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted for cash or other items, except at BoxoUSA’s sole discretion.

8. Winner Notification & Rights

• The winner will be announced on Monday, June 2, 2025.
• The winner will also be notified via email on June 2, 2025.
• The winner must respond and claim their prize by the end of the day on June 6, 2025.
• Failure to respond by the deadline will result in forfeiture, and an alternate winner may be selected.
• The winning design becomes the sole property of BoxoUSA, including all rights to reproduce, modify, sell, or distribute it in any format, in perpetuity, without further compensation beyond the prize awarded.

9. Legal Terms & Liability Release

• Participants warrant that their design is original and does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless BoxoUSA, its affiliates, and agents from any and all third-party claims arising from their submission.
• BoxoUSA reserves the right to disqualify any entry that violates the rules or is otherwise deemed inappropriate.
• By participating, entrants release BoxoUSA from all liability arising out of participation in the contest or acceptance/use of any prize.

10. General Conditions

• BoxoUSA reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the contest if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the contest.
• All decisions made by BoxoUSA regarding this contest are final and binding.
• This contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, YouTube, or any other third-party platform.
