BOXOusa Unveils 1st To Market Side Access Under Seat Triple Drawer Tool Box
ORANGE, CA November 2, 2020: BOXO USA today introduced the first of it’s kind Side Access Under Seat Triple Drawer Tool Box, TRKBX1-BK*, designed with convenient side access drawers providing easy access without moving passengers or lifting the seat cushion and center drawer opening to the front of the cab. The toolbox debuted today during the 2021 SEMA show taking place now through Nov. 5, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
“We saw the customer benefit for a tool box solution with side drawer access to tools and items while being concealed under the seat,” said Chad Schley, CEO of BOXO USA. “Not only is there access from the side of the vehicle, we designed the box with a third drawer that is within reach of the driver.”
Convenient Access and Functionality
The Side Access Under Seat Triple Drawer Tool Box provides 596 sq. in. of total storage space with drawers on each end with easy access when rear side doors are open. A third center drawer opens to the front of the cab accessible to the driver and passenger seats. No more climbing into the bed of the truck to grab tools and stored items from traditional truck tool boxes that are exposed to the elements as well as theft. The three drawers feature heavy-duty full length drawers with steel ball-bearings rated at 100 lbs. per slide. All drawers use a full width drawer pull handle system with dual drawer latches to keep the drawers closed. For security, this box is fitted with a key lock and digit-lock combination locking system for peace of mind. Built from heavy-duty 16-gauge steel and powder coat paint it resists chipping and scratches to provide a lasting life. Tool box measures 57-½” W x 13” D x 7” W with a 5-1/2” tapered design to fit while the seat is in the down position.
Securely mount the box with the included hardware to the factory tie down locations inside of the cab and at the back of the seat to lock the box in place. Easy installation requires no drilling or cutting.
